Implants & Dentures

What if I don’t get an implant?

If you’ve lost one or more teeth due to trauma, disease, or decay, it’s important to replace those teeth as soon as you can. Missing teeth can impact your oral health as well as your overall physical well-being, causing problems biting, chewing, and eating properly. You also have a greater chance of developing gum disease, TMJ, crooked teeth, and other issues if you go without replacing your missing teeth.

Do you offer sedation?

We offer laughing gas to patients undergoing a variety of treatments and procedures. We also offer oral conscious sedation for lengthier or more complex procedures.

How much do dental implants cost?

The full cost of your dental implant procedure will depend on your overall treatment needs, such as the extent of restoration required to complete your smile. Our team strives to provide our implant dentistry services at fair and affordable prices.

Do dentures hurt?

It takes a few weeks for your mouth to adjust to your dentures. Your gums will feel tender and it will take some time to get used to eating. If you need your remaining teeth pulled prior to receiving dentures, this procedure will require a period of healing as well. Our team will provide you with detailed instructions on how to reduce your discomfort while you heal. Should you experience any issues with your dentures, be sure to call our office right away for a follow-up.

Do implants hurt?

You will require a minor surgical procedure to place the implants in your jaw. Following your procedure, it’s normal to experience some pain and swelling while your mouth heals. Our team will provide you with detailed postoperative instructions and prescribed pain relievers (as needed) to help you manage any discomfort you may experience.

How much do dentures cost?

While a considerable investment in your oral health, dentures are typically more affordable than dental implants. The total cost of your dentures will depend on your case and the type of dentures you choose, such as full or partial. Our team will discuss all treatment costs and payment options during your denture consultation.


Are dentures covered by insurance?

In most cases, yes. Dental insurance will usually cover the cost of your dentures in part or full, depending on your plan. Our friendly team is here to help you and will answer any questions you may have about your insurance, deductible, and all treatment costs.

Six Month Smiles

Can teens get Six Month Smiles?

Six Month Smiles is designed for patients 16 and up with mild orthodontic cases. Teens and adults with all their permanent teeth may be a candidate for treatment.

Is Six Month Smiles covered by insurance?

Most dental insurance plans cover a portion of Six Month Smiles treatment. We will verify benefits for you during your visit. Uninsured? We also offer affordable financing through CareCredit and Denefits.

How much does Six Month Smiles cost?

The exact cost of your treatment will depend on your unique case. However, for most patients, Six Month Smiles is comparable to braces but takes less time than other treatment options.

Veneers

How long do veneers last?

We use porcelain for its strength, durability, and natural appearance. You can expect your veneers to keep you smiling for 10-15 years, but you can extend the lifespan of your veneers by practicing good dental hygiene at home.

Do veneers hurt?

Veneers are generally an easy, painless procedure. Dr. Choi will remove an ultra-thin layer of enamel from your teeth to prepare them to receive the veneers, but this shouldn’t cause you any discomfort. Our team will administer local anesthesia as needed to numb the area so you won’t feel anything.

How long does it take to get veneers?

You can expect to make 2-3 visits over the course of your treatment, from the initial consultation to receiving your final veneers.
